Senate Dem's Tax Day Ads: "McCain vs. Reality on Taxes" & Taxes by the Numbers"

Senate Democrats released two tax-related campaign ads today, one of which was aimed directly at Sen. John McCain's lies about taxes:

Taxes by the Numbers
Last year, Democrats provided meaningful tax cuts to hardworking middle-class families through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This stands in stark contrast with the record of the Republicans, who tried to sell their tax breaks over the past decade as beneficial to all Americans, when in reality they gave away nearly $3 trillion in tax cuts to the wealthiest 20 percent of U.S. households. They served up these tax cuts to the nations wealthiest households at the very moment that they launched an expensive war in Iraq, contributing substantially to todays deficits and debt.

The question every American should ask is "Who's on your side?" The answer: Democrats.

McCain vs. Reality on Taxes

Sen. John McCain today decided that he was not only entitled to his own opinion, but to his own facts as well. In light of Tax Day, McCain made all sorts of false claims about the administration's efforts to cut taxes for middle class Americans. Watch for yourself to determine fact vs. fiction.
