Ask Budweiser To Step Down From The Chamber Of Commerce

Bob, a Budweiser Clydesdale horse, comes out and asks Anheuser-Busch to step down from the board on the US Chamber of Commerce due to the chamber's radical and extremist views on the environment and climate change.

Apple has already quit the U.S. Chamber of Commerce over its climate change position.

Nike resigned from the Chamber's board.

Johnson&Johnson, General Electric, San Jose Chamber of Commerce, Alcoa, Duke, Entergy & Microsoft all say the Chamber doesn't represent their views on climate change (h/t NRDC).

Three major utilities -- PG&E Corp. of California, Exelon Corp. of Chicago and PNM Resources of New Mexico -- have also dumped on the Chamber.

BusinessWeek, PRWeek, Fortune Magazine's Marc Gunther, Newsweek, LA Times all says the US Chamber is damaging its reputation and credibility (also h/t NRDC).
