CNN: 56% Either Support House Health Care Reform Bill (w/ its Public Option Version), or Want More

ABC released their new poll earlier today, and now it's CNN's turn (h/t DKos' VirginiaDem):

The CNN poll on Obama's job approval:

1. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president?

Nov. 13-15 2009

Approve 55%
Disapprove 42%
No Opinion 3%

On Obama as a person:

2. Apart from whether you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as
president, what do you think of Obama as a person? Would you say you approve of him or
disapprove of him?

Nov. 13-15 2009 June 26-28 2009

Approve 76% 79%
Disapprove 20% 17%
No opinion 4% 4%

On the House HCR bill is a bit more complicated because of the way CNN asked the question:

11. As you may know, the U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a bill that would make major
changes in the country’s health care system. Based on what you have heard or read about that bill,
do you generally favor it or generally oppose it?

Nov. 13-15 2009

Favor 46%
Oppose 49%
No opinion 5%

But, that favor or appose doesn't' really tell the real story. Only 34% actually oppose health care reform in general.

If you look at the breakdown, 10% are of the 49% who are against it, are against it because it is NOT LIBERAL ENOUGH. Meaning 56% of Americans either support the House bill with its public option, or want more. 34% are opposed to it, period.
12. (IF OPPOSE:) Do you oppose that bill because you think its approach toward health care is too
liberal, or because you think its approach toward health care is not liberal enough?

Nov. 13-15 2009

Favor (from Q.11) 46%
Oppose, too liberal 34%
Oppose, not liberal enough 10%
Oppose, other reasons 3%
No opinion 8%
