Keith Olbermann, like many of us, have been fed up with Glenn Beck's Joe McCarthy-eqsue witch hunts for a very long time and which are usually directed against Obama personally.
The most recent of which. however, was against Van Jones, the White House's Green Jobs Adviser.
Over the weekend, Keith Olbermann asked fans/viewers -- via his Daily Kos Blog -- to "Send Me Everything You Can Find About Glenn Beck":
The this, is this tweet from Beck who after Van Jones, smells blood in the water:
I don't know why I've got this phrasing in my head, but: Find everything you can about Glenn Beck, Stu Burguiere, and Roger Ailes.[snip]
Tuesday we will expand this to the television audience and have a dedicated email address to accept leads, tips, contacts, on Beck, his radio producer Burguiere, and the chief of his tv enablers, Ailes (even though Ailes' power was desperately undercut when he failed to pull off his phony "truce" push).
This becomes necessary after this....read the rest & do something...
It was after seeing this threatening missive, Keith decided to take on Beck, and his boss, Roger Ailes and Fox "news" producer, Stu Burguiere.
On last night's Countdown, Keith explained a little more about what he meant and what he plans on doing:
The hazards of Glen Beck’s loose canon
Sept. 8: Countdown’s Keith Olbermann explains that the smears and dirty tricks by Fox News and Glen Beck have a long history that goes beyond simple “opposition research.”
